We promise to be better about posting the many heartfelt experiences that Roy's fans have....it is so rewarding to read this after the long hard road of travel that we are on.  Thank you Tom and Nancy for writing and letting us know what your experience was....keeps us going. :)  Best - Gaynell

We just had the tremendous privilege of being entertained by Roy Rogers and Ray Manzarek at the Lake Worth Bamboo Room. We LOVED it! Tom had followed Roy early in his career when he would perform at The Blues Saloon in St. Paul. I (Nancy), had been introduced to Roy's music when I met Tom about eight years ago. I've been on the newsletter list waiting for Roy to be in a venue where I could see him live. We moved to Florida two years ago - and it finally happened. Roy's performance was excellent, but I was most impressed by his humble demeanor, evidenced by his meet-and-greet after the show. Not many artists make themselves accessible to their fans, and Roy didn't "close up shop" until the last person had been properly addressed. We will continue to watch for additional venues. I can't WAIT for the next performance - hopefully, this one with the Delta Rhythm Kings.
