Be Better from our Merk You Mondays project!

A little throwback for yall! For our new fans and followers, back in 2008 when we released Dope Beats, Good News, we started a little something called, Merk You Mondays. Simply put, every Monday we released a new track off the album, Dope Beats, Good News and after four weeks of it we released the entire album and allowed our fans to pay what they wanted to for it. (Before Noise Trade existed)

Well in between recording RED, we began Merk You Mondays again and released a new track every monday for about 12 weeks. These are songs that we wanted to share with our fans who support us and give you a little something to say THANK YOU! So if you have not checked out or are new to the Rhema Soul family, here is the Merk You Monday project for you to enjoy!

"I have completed composition of a new work that merges the beauty and grace of the Baroque Minuet form with the urban sounds and sensabilities of daily life. This work is entitled: Simul Notatio, consisting of four movements that can be performed as stand alone pieces of dance in the Baroque tradition..or, all movements performed simultaneously as performance art.  The orchestration consists of a String quartet, Horn quartet, Vocal quartet and myself utilizing an array of synthesizers. I am excited to announce that the Chicago Modern Orchestra is considering performing the premier. Details are schetchy as of yet because of scheduling conflicts. I will update here and via Social media as we get closer. Look's like August and September will work for everyone involved..Stay Tuned.

This song it the first result of the April Casa Mojo recording session.  "Why would you?" has a touch of the "Walrus" about it, we are told.  Certainly the influence of classical instrumentation can be heard, battling it out with the usual influence of exotic herbal remedies and whisky.  Some say it's the best Moriartys tune yet....you can be the judge of that rather lofty claim.
